One of the oldest buildings on the Royal Mile, Gladstone’s Land sits at the fashionable end of the Royal Mile just a stone’s throw from the castle. This 500-year-old building is a towering testament to tenement life in Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the building. There is wheelchair access to the ground floor shop. Access to the upper floors is by a turnpike (spiral) staircase with uneven stairs – the first floor can also be accessed by a set of shallower wooden stairs on request.
